Jeff Thomas F.C.A. C.T.A.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1966, Jeff became a partner in the firm of Carston Poley Morris & Thomas in 1968 which subsequently became Carston & Co.
In April 2000 following the merger with Shepherd Hallett, Jeff remained a partner in the firm. He retired as a partner in April 2004, but retained his interest in the business by becoming a consultant.
Jeff is a member of the Institute of Taxation and of the Tax Faculty and advises clients on all aspects of both personal and corporate taxation. He particularly specialises in Inheritance Tax mitigation.
Having dealt with most aspects of the media industry during his career, he has developed a wealth of experience in this area.
Outside accountancy Jeff is the Hon. Treasurer of Cancer Research Wales at Velindre Hospital, the Hon. Treasurer of the Cardiff Athletic Club Golfing Society, an active member of Llanishen Golf Club and enjoys Indoor Bowls at the Rhiwbina Recreation Club.
